In today’s world of sports, there are more and more female reporters. Long ago they earned the right to go into mens locker rooms after games to report just like the men had always been allowed. Some deserve to be there because they are good reporters and know the facts and figures of the sport they are covering.

Today we will look at those women who cover the news in sports or who are the news in sports.

Female Athletes Making Great Strides In Attractiveness

According to Gary Hoenig, editor of  ESPN the Magazine, coverage of female athletes is no longer relegated to the back pages of sports magazines.

With the popularity of mens magazines like Maxim and Playboy, these women are featured in large photo shoots which display there body’s for all to see and men to oogle over. Experts say the massive popularity of tennis champ Anna Kournikova has had an undeniable effect on female athletics, as well.

After a great year the New Orleans Saints won the big game and join the list of Superbowl Champions. With an impressive defensive stand after taking a 24 to 17 lead the Saints held on and won 31 – 17 to win Superbowl XLIV.
